Dr. Dana Gill - Veterinarian
Dr. Dana Gill was born and raised in Oklahoma City. At a young age she knew that caring for animals was her calling in life. She attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology and then her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She has enjoyed caring for the pets in Midwest City for 15 years at which time she started Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Gill started her veterinary career in Boulder, Colorado and then returned home to Oklahoma City. When Dr. Gill is not caring for animals, she enjoys outdoor activities- camping, hiking, water skiing, horseback riding and SCUBA diving. She and her husband, Clint, have two wonderful boys, three dogs, and one cat.
Dr. Emily Heck - Veterinarian
Dr. Emily Heck originated from Shawnee, Oklahoma and has remained in the OKC area. She discovered her passion for animals at a very young age and has worked in the veterinary field for 8 years, including her time as a veterinary assistant. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Oklahoma State University in 2010 and graduated from Oklahoma State Veterinary Teaching Hospital as a DVM in 2014. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Heck has enjoyed owning many animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats. Currently, she personally cares for seven cats. Dr. Heck enjoys working with Dr. Gill here at Cornerstone on Thursdays, Fridays and on rare occasion will fill in for Dr. Gill. During the rest of the week Dr. Heck works at Deer Creek Animal Hospital.
